My First Brainbox - Kids

I had a moment of realisation the other day walking through the market because I found the book that I'd had as a little girl, yes that one which I can still recite by heart because it was read to me so many times.

Looking at it as a mother I can see all the things that appealed, the bright colours, the funny pictures with lots of smiles and looking at the cards in my first brainbox I see the same things.

The colours are bright and eye catching and everyone's smiling. When I showed them to my little boy I had to prise them away from him at bedtime! I'm sure he didn't realise he was actually learning things from the game.

My first Brainbox children's toy consists of a set of 71 cards. Each player picks a card and has ten seconds to memorise the image on the front.

They then have to roll a dice to pick which question on the back they have to answer. If they get it right they keep the card, get it wrong and it'll be prised away by the other player. {Expect to hear shouting at this point!}

If both players get the question right or wrong then it's through to sudden death...the person with the most cards at the end of the game is declared brain box supreme!

The beauty of Brainbox toy is its portability, there aren't loads of fiddly little bits to get lost or break.

It also grows as your children grow with more complicated and specialised boxes available in the range.

My first Brainbox children's toy is simple to play and won't loose their attention like games aimed at older children and if they're anything like my little boy then expect to be telling them to put it away.
